Daily Reflection: Friday, August 16
There is a great reading from Ezekiel for today’s Mass: Ezekiel 16, 1-15, 60, 63. Some of the chosen people had broken their covenant with the Lord, but “the Lord is kind and merciful” and offers to reestablish it with them and even goes as far as telling them that He will “pardon them for all that they had done.” How immensely gracious and loving is the Lord by going to this length to show forgiveness. There is certainly much to think about after reading this passage.
