Daily Reflection: Wednesday, April 26

April 26   Wednesday of the Third Week of Easter

Everything that the Father gives me will come to me,

and I will not reject anyone who comes to me.  (Jn 6:37)

Should I be amazed how far Jesus is beyond the rest of us?  His acceptance of anyone who turns to him inspires awe.  No matter who they are, where they are from, what they have done: he welcomes them.  And not just them, each of us, as well.  No wandering, no shame of ours will keep us from him.
