Even though Jesus was going to ascend to the Father, he doesn’t want his followers to lose hope. He keeps assuring them: “I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice.” St. Paul knew about Jesus’ presence and it was enough to keep him going “Do not be afraid. Go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you.” This kept St. Paul going and it can do the same for us.
