Daily Reflection: Saturday, April 22

Saturday, April 22

Today, we read about the sea being “stirred up.” The disciples are afraid because of the wind and the stirring of the sea and then they see someone off at a distance walking on the water. There are a number of times that Jesus calms them- whether when they are on the sea, in a storm, or when people are rejecting him. “Do not be afraid” is said by Jesus many times. Fear can overtake any of us at any time. ”Do not be afraid, I am with you.”

Fr. Andrew
