“I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world.” Jesus says this in today’s Gospel, “to save and not condemn.” We see in the first reading from the Acts of the Apostles how Barnabas and Saul have committed themselves to the mission of “saving” the world. You and I know that this world can easily be condemned, but there is still much work to be done to “save” it. We are invited daily to “make our mark” in being “light” for our world.
