Daily Reflection: Monday, June 5

Monday, June 5, 2023 – Memorial of St. Boniface, Bishop and Martyr

In our first reading from Tobit, we read how Tobit went and carried a dead man from the street. This was something frowned abound by society. In Gospel reading we heard how the tenants killed the landlord’s son. Both of these a two opposite of the spectrum. One is following the crowd the other doing what we feel is right. As Christians we are called to go against what society thinks is right and do what we know is right and just in the eyes of God.
