Daily Reflection: Friday, June 30

Friday June 30

The leper in today’s Gospel submits to the will of Jesus – “If you wish you can make me clean”. He humbly asked for what he needed, not demanding anything of Jesus. Our prayer also needs to be humble, knowing that our desires are not always going to be fulfilled. We place ourselves in the presence of God, trusting that God loves us and will always do what is best for us.
