Daily Reflection: Monday, September 25

Monday, September 25, 2023 -25th Week in Ordinary Time. https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/092523.cfm

In the gospel reading Jesus said; “No one who lights a lamp conceals it with a vessel or set it under a bed; rather, he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.” The light is a metaphor for our faith. Do we have faith that shines so it gives off light to those who enter into our lives? Maybe a better question is, do people who meet me know that I am follower of Jesus? If not, what can I do to make it known? Today pray for the courage to let the light of your faith shine brightly before others.
