Daily Reflection: Thursday, October 5

Thursday, October 5

St. Faustina has become known as the “apostle of mercy.” Today is her feastday. We are reminded that God is a God of mercy as the Psalm says: “the Lord is kind and merciful. He is patient and full of love.” This is God’s nature, offered everyday to everyone. In the church we have Divine Mercy Sunday, but we have to remember that God’s mercy is not for just one day, but for everyday to all.
