Daily Reflection: Tuesday, October 24

Tuesday, October 24, 2023 – 29th Week in Ordinary Time https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/102423.cfm

Jesus in the gospel reading told the disciples. “Gird your loins and light your lamps and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks.” We don’t have servants today, so it might be difficult to get the concept of a servants awaiting their master’s return. However, we might think about when we have a hard difficult day or been away from home for a long time, how do you want to be welcome back. So how would God like to be welcome when he comes to visit our house?
