Daily Reflection: Wednesday, October 25

Wednesday, October 25, 2023 – 29th Week in Ordinary Time https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/102523.cfm

Today we read from psalm 124: “Then would the waters have overwhelmed us; The torrent would have swept over us; over us then would have swept the raging waters. Blessed be the LORD, who did not leave us a prey to their teeth.” With all that is going on in our world today and what some of us might be experiencing in our personal life, it might feel the raging waters sweeping us away. God is reaching out a hand to us to grab, are we willing to grab on? What is making us feel that we can save ourselves without help?
