Daily Reflection: Wednesday, March 27

Wednesday, March 27

This is traditionally called Spy Wednesday. It refers to Judas Iscariot’s intention to betray Jesus, having agreed to be a part of His being handed over to the authorities, leading to His crucifixion. It is about betrayal which in any circumstance is very disturbing and shocking. For anyone who has experienced this at one time in their life, the anger, hurt and disappointment linger.
