Daily Reflection: Thursday, April 4

Thursday of the First Week of Easter

Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer

and rise from the dead on the third day

and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins,

would be preached in his name

to all the nations beginning from Jerusalem.

You are witness of these things.  (Lk 24:46-48)

Pass it on.  Once the disciples had caught on to the reality of Jesus risen, they became his witnesses.

Their job was to pass on the good news.  Our Christian vocation is the same.  Pass on the good news.

John Frambes, ofm
