“With great power the Apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 4: 33

We remain in the season of Easter so are still singing Alleluia’s in full voice! Are we also bearing witness to the resurrection of the Lord? As an Alleluia people we are called to do more than sing Alleluia! We are invited to witness not only to the resurrection, but to the life and teachings of Jesus (the principles which got him in trouble with the authorities). The way of mercy and compassion is needed today as much as ever. Are we willing to be witnesses to this way which is often in opposition to the prevailing wisdom of our society? May the Spirit give us the courage to be such witnesses.
