Daily Reflection: Wednesday, July 6
July 6 Wednesday of the 14th week in Ordinary Time
As you go, make this proclamation:
“The Kingdom of God is at hand.” (Mt. 10:7)
We have notions about what the Kingdom of God means and what it brings. The Apostles were sent to let people know that they were on the brink of the Kingdom. Those Biblical people had their notions, too. I think the announcement was Jesus’ way of saying, “I am here now.” It makes everything new and we are changed.
Jesus is always with us until the end of time. We are his apostles now and we have to get the message out.
