Daily Reflection: Tuesday, July 11

Tuesday, July 11

St. Benedict’s feastday is today. He developed a way of life which grew and attracted many men in the beginning. He called it a “school for God’s service.” We characterize his way of life with the words “ora and labora”- prayer and work. Even though we aren’t monks, this is a good way for us to look at those hours that when we are engaged in “work.” Integrate some prayer during those hours and see what happens.
