Daily Reflection: Wednesday, February 15

Wednesday, February 15, 2023 – 6th Week in Ordinary Time https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/021523.cfm

Today, we hear how Jesus needed to lay hands on the blind man to accomplish the healing. We might mistakenly think that Jesus did not do it right the first time. Our faith tells this is not the fact, so how do we explain the need for Jesus need to repeat his actions. It is because the blind man represents all of us and our human sinfulness and lack of trust in God. It is us who need to have God to repeatedly offer the gifts we need to become healed to become the person that we were created to be.
