Daily Reflection: Thursday, February 16

Thursday, February 16, 2023 – 6th Week in Ordinary Time https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/021623.cfm

Today, we hear about poor Peter, who acknowledged Jesus as the Messiah. Then mess it up by not fulling understanding what the Messiah stands for. Peter like most of the people waiting for the Messiah thought that the Messiah would be a military leader. Peter was judging by human standers. We too are like Peter; we think by human standers. We need the gift of the Holy Spirit to help us to truly know what God desires from us.
