Tuesday of the First Week in Lent

…So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth;

but shall do my will,

achieving the end for which I sent it.     (Is 55:11)

 God’s word churns in our hearts and souls.  It unsettles and provokes.  It forms and re-forms our prayer and purifies our actions.  This can be uncomfortable.
