In our Gospel reading The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector is from Luke.  It warns us not to compare our spiritual life with others.  When we compare this causes, one to be place above another.  In truth we are all sinners and all in need of God’s forgiveness. Today reflect on the Tax Collector’s prayer. “O God, be merciful to me a sinner”.  In quiet prayer slowly repeat this simple prayer for 5 minutes and listen to what God is telling you.
