Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Easter

…My peace I give to you.

Not as the world gives do I give it to you. (Jn 14:27)

The world’s peace comes with conditions.  But Jesus gives peace with no strings attached except to share it.  The peace that Jesus gives is unlike the world’s peace which must be defended with weapons of power.  The peace of Jesus is its own power.
