Tuesday May 7
Jesus tells us today that if he does not go back to the Father, the Advocate will not come. The Advocate, God’s Spirit of Love, has the ability to be everywhere, which Jesus in his humanity did not have. God’s Spirit is available to all of us at all times. We really cannot separate one “part” of God from the others – they are one as we are told often by Jesus. We may have devotion to God in different ways approaching the Father, Son and Spirit as our needs arise, but should remember always that God is One!
