Memorial of the Queenship of Mary

I will cleanse you. I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you, taking from your bodies your stony hearts and giving you natural hearts.  (Ez 26:25-26)

The prophesy of Ezekiel is given to discouraged exiles.  They have given up.  But God promises to bring them back to life.

Even if it is not a time of personal discouragement, sometimes we experience a moment of cleansing and renewal.  We are given new insight, new motivation and new life.  We realize that our hearts have been stony and God changes that.
