Daily Reflection: Friday, October 4

“Let us all rejoice in the Lord! Celebrating a Feast in honor of Blessed Francis. In whose solemnity the angels rejoice and sing praise to the Son of God!” And so begins a hymn in honor of St. Francis. This yearly feast reminds us again of a simple man who made a profound impact on the past, the present and the future.   He pulls us away from what occupies us to what is important and what we need to pay more attention to. Every year Francis can mean something different for us- what does he speak to you this year?
