Daily Reflection: Saturday, October 5

In today’s Gospel, Jesus says,”Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I say to you , many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.”  Thinking back on yesterday and St. Francis, he indeed “saw” and “heard” more than most people and this gave him a much greater and deeper experience of what was important in life. Because of our pace of life, we can miss so much. Are you good at seeing and hearing?
