“Whoever seeks to preserve his/her life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it.” Again, we hear the call to generosity, to be willing to go out of ourselves for the sake of others. This is who Jesus was, this is how God speaks to us through Jesus. God bent low to become one with us, willing to give all even unto death. This is how we find life, by letting go of our need to preserve it. May God give us the courage to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
